In a pinch and need to see the dentist for that throbbing toothache, but your appointment isn't until next week. Need some home remedies to get you through the pain. Below are a couple of home remedies that may help you get through the pain without making a trip to your local drugstore.

According to an article at homeremediesfortoothache.net, “give tips on home remedies for toothaches.

“The need for some toothache home remedies has become really popular as people are trying to save money by not going to the dentist. There are many people who suffer from these toothaches each and every day. These pains may be minor aches to the excruciatingly painful. When your toothache has become so painful then perhaps that would be a good time to see a dentist. If this is not the case then you can use some simple home remedies in order to buy yourself some time before you have to see the dentist. I can fully understand why you do not want to see the dentist as they may be painful and very expensive.

Typically the most common cause for these toothaches is the cavities that form because of the sweet foods you eat. You see what happens when you eat these sweet foods they react to the bacteria that are already in your mouth and this forms an acid. This acid then in turns attacks the enamel of your teeth which forms the cavity.

If you can avoid any really hot or cold drinks then you would save yourself a lot of pain. These hot or cold drinks can cause pain because these liquids go right into the nerve endings which cause you to be in pain. As well since you know that these sweet drinks are the cause of your cavity I would recommend you stay away from any sweet liquids.

Some of the most common toothache home remedies can be found just by searching your spice cabinet. There are many natural spices when combined with some other foods that can serve as really helpful pain relievers. For instance the first one that comes to mind is clove oil. If you can combine clove oil with some peanut butter you can create a paste which will serve to ease some of the pain. As well garlic is really helpful to chew on if you have a toothache.

Another helpful spice is turmeric. I see this spice come up again and again in many home remedies so it is always handy to have this one on your shelf. By burning some turmeric spice and mixing it into a powder you can then place this powder on the affected area. You would be amazed with the results.

Now I did tell you to stay away from the cold drinks but sometimes if you put in an ice cube into your mouth and hold it near the toothache you may see some relief. Of course if this causes you to have any pain then stops immediately.”
